At Everstead K9 Academy, we are more than just dog trainers. We are passionate dog owners just like you that are dedicated to helping dogs and their owners build lasting, meaningful relationships. Founded by Jeff Greene and Sami Garza, Everstead K9 Academy was established to bring expert, compassionate training to dogs of all backgrounds and behaviors, especially those considered “challenging” or “unmanageable.”
From a young age, Samantha knew she had a special connection with animals. Her childhood dreams of working with dogs evolved over the years into a full-time commitment to canine welfare and training. After studying at Animal Behavior College and shadowing top trainers in the field, Samantha gained hands-on experience with reactive and aggressive dogs. Her mission is to bridge the gap between dogs and their owners by addressing the root causes of behavioral issues and giving families the skills to create lasting harmony with their pets. Beyond her role at Everstead, Samantha dedicates time to fostering and volunteering with rescue organizations. She works closely with local rescues, providing expert guidance and rehabilitation to dogs who need a second chance. Her goal is to help each dog reach their full potential, ensuring they remain in loving homes for life.
Jeff Greene’s journey to dog training was fueled by a passion for saving lives. A former firefighter, Jeff transitioned from rescuing people to rescuing dogs, applying his unique skills and perspective to canine training. Known internationally for his work with reactive and aggressive dogs, Jeff has a gift for restoring trust and balance in dogs who might otherwise be overlooked. His compassionate yet structured approach emphasizes a balanced training philosophy, blending rewards with clear boundaries, and equipping dog owners with the knowledge they need to understand and guide their pets. Jeff’s dedication to improving the lives of both dogs and owners has made Everstead K9 Academy a place of hope and transformation. His vision for Everstead is a space where dogs and their owners can build unbreakable bonds and live happier, more harmonious lives together.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to create lifelong partnerships between dogs and their owners by understanding and addressing the underlying causes of behavioral challenges.
